“Moto Ramen & Izakaya is my new go-to for authentic Japanese comfort food in Vancouver! Their Tonkotsu Ramen is next-level—creamy, slow-simmered pork bone broth that’s rich but not heavy, paired with chewy noodles and tender chashu that melts in your mouth. I also tried their edamame as a starter, and it was perfectly seasoned, making it the ideal pairing with a cold beer. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, just like a traditional izakaya, and the service is quick and friendly. Already planning my next visit!”

“Obsessed with the Miso Ramen at Moto Ramen & Izakaya! The broth is bold and packed with umami, with just the right amount of depth from the miso, and the toppings—crispy menma, green onions, and a perfectly runny soft-boiled egg—take it over the top. I also ordered their chicken karaage, which was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, totally hitting the spot. It’s the perfect spot for a satisfying meal, whether you’re grabbing lunch or hanging out with friends over drinks. Highly recommend!”

“What a gem in Vancouver! Moto Ramen & Izakaya nails both ramen and izakaya eats. The Tonkotsu Ramen’s broth is silky smooth and full of flavor, a testament to hours of simmering, and the noodles have that perfect chewy texture that soaks up the soup. We also shared some yakitori skewers that were grilled to perfection—charred just right with a smoky flavor. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, great for catching up with friends, and the portions are generous. Definitely one of the best Japanese spots around!”
